Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026 · DailyDrumbeat (beta)
The short version
Your family's data stays on your devices. DailyDrumbeat has no cloud backend. Routines, checklists, points, photos, and health data are stored locally on the phones and TVs you install it on, and sync directly between your own devices on your home network.
What the app accesses, and why
- Google Calendar — read your calendar events so the app can run your schedule. Events are processed on-device.
- Spotify — connect your Spotify account to play your playlists at event time. Playback is controlled through Spotify's own app/SDK.
- YouTube — play the playlists you attach to scheduled video windows. We don't track what you watch.
- Health Connect (optional) — read steps, sleep, and heart rate to show them alongside your routines. Health data never leaves your device and is never shared or sold.
- Photos/camera (optional) — the "done pictures" you take for your own checklists. Stored on your devices only.
What we collect on this website
If you join the beta list, we store the email address you submit so we can send you the invite. That's it. Unsubscribe any time by replying.
What we don't do
- No selling or sharing of personal data
- No advertising or third-party trackers in the app
- No cloud copies of your family's routines, photos, points, or health data
Children
DailyDrumbeat is set up and administered by a parent or guardian. Kid profiles are created by the account holder; children's data lives on the family's own devices, subject to everything above.
